This thing pops of the belt too often. Risk the well-being of your tools everytime you use it.
I was very surprised how well this is constructed, all metal.It looks like it will last a long time. I will post when and if it breaks on me.
The Bigg Lugg's idea is a good idea, but does not allow the person to get to the gun and get it out of the cradle. Most of the time, the clip comes off with the gun. Not a good product.
Put on belt and attached nice new nail gun that promptly fell on floor in next 5 minutes - was.#~.~~. Will not rely on clip again.
I purchased this hook from Amazon to hold my DeWalt 18volt drill while I finished my basement. The coupling between the two is plastic and it looks like it stress fractured right at the 90 degree joint. It worked as I expected it to for about 6 months but, then one day I heard a big thud as my drill hit the floor. As I picked up my drill, I noticed that the hook itself had broken from the metal belt clip. I can't say that I'm totally surprised because the drill is heavy and I certainly got a lot of use out of the hook which is why I haven't panned it. I'm going to see if Bigg Lugg will replace it but, I'm not holding my breath.
